Description: Solisortus Prime is exactly like Armada Optimus Prime before he came to Earth, except he is mostly yellow and red like IDW Sentinel Prime with hints of navy blue. His head is shaped like Optimus' supermode with the faceplate, but not the long earfins that are shaped like pipes. Red is replaced with yellow, blue is replaced by red, and silver is replaced by navy blue. Instead of being placed on his shoulder, the Autobot symbol is located on the left side of his head. On the right side of his head is the Cybertronian symbol for 'Prime'. His optics are an unusual colour of charcoal instead of being the usual kind Autobot azure blue or cobalt blue that are seen in most Autobots.
Bio: Ignitus Prime, an old Prime who was slowly wearing down in his old age, dreamed of nothing more than to have a son of his own, and to pass on the History of the Primes to the next generation. Even his old bondmate, Aquila, agreed with him. The Council of the Elders also wanted a new Prime to walk in Ignitus' footsteps, and wanted to fulfill the prophecy of the coming Chosen-One that was foretold in the Covenant of Primus. Ignitus and Aquila tried many times to have a son, but they were always unsuccessful. A million years later, Ignitus finally came up with a solution. To journey through the difficult path that led down to the core of Cybertron, the very Spark of Primus Himself and ask for a son in the hopes of fulfilling the prophecy. The Elders agreed and Ignitus began his journey at once. He finally arrived at the chamber that contained Primus' Spark and spoke in the Ancient Language of the Primes. He said, translated to New Cybertronian or English: "Great, Mighty Primus. My bondmate, Aquila, and I are growing old and wish to have a son in order to continue the lineage of Primus and to fulfill the ancient prophecy that spoke of the Chosen-One. Please grant us this wish so that peace may continue." Immediately, Primus responded and he granted this wish by planting the seed within Aquila. Both were overjoyed by the news when they discovered that Aquila was pregnant. The pregnancy went extremely well for the old couple and no miscarriages took place. The sparkling grew strong and healthy within his old mother. When the time came for the sparkling to be born, Aquila immediately went into labour. The birth was a blessing and painless as the sparkling floated out of his mother as a glowing sunrise and landed in the gentle hands of his old father. The sparkling formed into a beautiful young mech and Ignitus decided to name him Solisortus, meaning, in the Ancient Language of the Primes, 'sunrise' or 'rising-sun'. Solisortus grew strong and healthy, learning the history of his anscestors, and taking his job as the Future Prime very seriously, even the Elders were pleased with the youngling's progress. Solisortus became popular in school and was well loved by each and every one of them. He was very bright, and very intelligent for his age, and he learned his lessons well. When he graduated from the Academy, Ignitus finally decided that it was time for him and his beloved Aquila to move on into the Allspark to join the many Transformers that became one with Primus. At first, Solisortus was sad about this, but he understood that he too would join his anscestors one day when the time came for him to die at his own accord. Ignitus and Aquila passed away that day, happy and proud that their son was fulfilling their last wish: to be a kind and generous Prime, who would live up to the supposed prophecy that Primus had foretold. Solisortus Prime eventually found a bondmate of his own, his sparklinghood friend, Lapasi, a beautiful femme. They had children of their own, twin sons named Sentinel and Maximus. Solisortus taught them everything he knew that his father, Ignitus Prime, taught him. His newfound wisdom soared through the young minds of his sons and he hoped that they too would have the Pride of the Primes. But, one day, Solisortus' life changed forever when he was out investigating the mountains of Decagon with a group of his most trusted, and most loyalist soldiers. Strangely, when they hardly made a sound, an avalanche of metallic rocks came crashing down upon the group. Solisortus managed to escort everyone out of the way, but his youngest soldier, Kup, was paralysed with fear at the sight of a gigantic rock falling towards him. In a desperate attempt to get him out of danger, Solisortus shoved him out of the way as the rocks tumbled down on him, crushing his entire mainframe. But the Autobot Matrix of Leadership was protected within his indestructable chest cavity. Kup and the other Autobots rushed to his side, but the damage had been down. Solisortus Prime's very Spark was fading away from existence. With his last amount of strength, Solisortus took the Matrix out of his chest and handed it to Kup, asking him to fulfill his last wish: "Pass this on to my sons, Sentinel and Maximus. I was never the Chosen-One from the start. I was only holding on to it until the time was right. Please take care of my family. Tell my beloved Lapasi that I shall see her on the other side of the Allspark. I'll be waiting for her when her time comes." His optics went dim and his Spark finally faded away, never to be seen or heard from again. Lapasi was devestated when Kup told her the news, but she promised that she would give the Matrix to her sons in the hopes of them deciding who would be the next Prime. Much to her's and Kup's amazement, the Matrix chose both of the twins and they shared half of the Matrix's power. Saddened and a little disheartened, the brothers decided to also fulfill their father's last wish by moving on, but still remembering the greatness, wisdom, and undying love their father gave them, and becoming the Primes they are today until the day the true Chosen-One was born.
Personality: Solisortus is described as being the kindest and most devoted mech on the face of the Cybertron. More than willing to fight for the freedom and wellbeing of others, he is determined to even fight for those he loves and cares about the most, especially for his twin children and his beloved femme, whom he cares about so much with all his Spark. Unlike Sentinel, Solisortus does not dislike the Elders because he is always pleased with whatever choices they choose. Compassionate, kind, gentle and a loving father and bondmate, Solisortus. Like his children, he is a great leader and an incredible role-model to all young mechs and femmes who want to grow up to become leaders in the military. Caring and willing to give his life up for the Autobot cause, no other Autobot can ever hope to match their determination to this legend that is Solisortus Prime. But that may change when it comes to his sons, Sentinel and Maximus and his grandchildren, Magnus and Orion Pax.
Weapons/Abilities: Like all close-combat fighting Transformers, Solisortus is extremely skilled in hand-to-hand or sword fights. While close-combat is his advantage, he will fight skillfully in long-ranged attacks with his Barrage Cannon, and his Wrist Guns, often aiming for the hands of his opponents that holds a gun and charging in to knock them out or kill them from blank range with a swipe of his swords. His hands can be retracted to form Battle Blades (identical to Movieverse Prime's) that can easily slice through an opponent's armour, but he mostly uses it to slice off limbs in order to render them useless in reaching for their weapon when they want to fire upon. On each of his wrists are two Wrist Guns that can fire a variety of different charges, but he mostly uses his Energon to knock an opponent unconscious before closing in for the kill. On his shoulders are two cannons that are capable of firing a huge discharge of Energon, which can create powerful explosions in their wake. On his belt is a dagger that he uses only as a last resort or for self-defence. Solisortus is a master at Metallikato and many different types of Cybertronian martial arts, but his most favourite is Circuit-Su. Because of this mastery, he can channel is Spark energy and use it as a physical attack, but this can render him exhausted and unable to continue, hence why he rarely uses this ability unless it is a last resort weapon. His back armour can be removed to form twin Barrage Cannons that are capable of dealing a huge amount of damage to an opponent, mostly blowing off a limb or two.
Weakness: Like all Primes before him, Solisortus Prime cares about his people so much that he would risk his own life to defend them, thus risking his own life in order to defend them. Other than that, Solisortus has no physical weakness except his concern for the weak and the helpless.
Oh lookie, I'm back with a new profile and it is none other than Oppy's grandfather, Solisortus Prime. I'm in love all over again! Squeee!

Solis = Sun
Ortus = Rise

Yes, it's all latin from here. I love latin. It really comes in handy when you want to think of names.

Yes, his history is still a WIP, but I'm too tired to continue and my brain aches from all my thinking and going back and forth looking at Sentinel's profile in order to get it correct. I have what I want, just need a break, 'tis all.

Sadly, Solisortus only appears in a flashback in my story, Weight of the World. Why? Because he's dead. I can't tell exactly what happens. You'll just have to wait until I come up with the chapter, which should be soon. It's diffcult, but I promise I will. While Kup is watching over Orion Pax, he tells him a story about Sentinel's father and Orion's grandfather, Solisortus, and a courageous act he committed in order to save his most trusted warriors and Kup himself.

Good news, people. I'm out of home!

EDIT: I finally added Solisortus Prime's history. It's the biggest one I've ever done and I'm very happy. Yes, it's a tragedy that he died from a simple rockslide, but it was the best I could come up with. At least you finally get the chance to see what kind of heroic deed that Kup tells Orion Pax/Optronix/Optimus Prime about. It will be a story you may never forget.

Hope you love it!
